RF-4 Phantom at the Okadama Air Pageant, July 24, 2016
A Brief but Memorable Flypast
2016年7月24日、札幌の丘珠空港で開催された航空ページェントで撮影した、航空自衛隊RF-4ファントムの展示飛行である。
この日の航空ページェントは非常にタイトな進行だった。
ブルーインパルスをはじめ、航空自衛隊、海上自衛隊、陸上自衛隊の各機種が次々と飛行し、さらに室屋義秀氏の展示飛行も行われるなど、プログラムは過密そのものだった。
その中でRF-4に与えられた時間はごくわずかで、
展示飛行はノーマル（ギヤアップ）での航過と、ギヤダウンでの低速パスの2回のみ。
派手な演目はなく、機体の姿を静かに見せるような、控えめで実務的な飛行だった。
しかし、その短さこそが印象に残る。
迷彩塗装の機体と、特徴的なブルー塗装の偵察型が並んで空を横切る姿は、当時の日常でありながら、今となっては二度と見られない光景である。
限られた時間、限られたパス。
だからこそ、この日のRF-4の飛行は「記録」として残す価値があると感じている。
These photographs were taken on July 24, 2016, during the air pageant held at Okadama Airport in Sapporo.
The schedule on that day was extremely tight.
The Blue Impulse aerobatic team, aircraft from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the Maritime Self-Defense Force, and the Ground Self-Defense Force all appeared in quick succession, along with a demonstration flight by Yoshihide Muroya. Every minute was carefully allocated.
Within this busy program, the RF-4 Phantom was given only a brief appearance.
It made just two flypasts: one in a normal configuration with the landing gear retracted, and another low-speed pass with the landing gear down.
There were no dramatic maneuvers.
Instead, the aircraft simply showed its form—camouflaged and blue-painted reconnaissance Phantoms flying together—before returning to base.
At the time, this was an ordinary sight.
Today, it has become a rare and irreplaceable memory.
Because the RF-4 appeared only briefly, these images serve as a quiet but important record of a moment that will never be repeated.
