境界に立つ
この鳥居は、日常の世界と神聖な領域の境目に立っています。
目の前を道路が通っていることで、神の世界が特別な場所ではなく、私たちの暮らしのすぐ隣にあることが伝わってきます。
黄泉比良坂（よもつひらさか）という生と死の境界を越えたあと、人はここから再び「生きる側の世界」へと戻っていきます。
Entering the Sacred Space
Beyond the torii, a quiet path leads upward.
The shimenawa rope marks this place as sacred, signaling that one is no longer simply passing through, but stepping into a space shaped by belief.
Each step up the stone stairs feels deliberate.
Here, the boundary is no longer behind us—it is something we move deeper into.
聖域へ進む
鳥居をくぐると、静かな道が上へと続いています。
注連縄は、この場所が神聖な領域であることを示し、
通り過ぎる場所ではなく、足を踏み入れる場所であると告げています。
石段を一段ずつ登るごとに、
境界は背後に去り、私たちは神の領域へと近づいていきます。
At the Heart of the Shrine
At the top of the approach stands the main shrine building.
This is the place where prayers are offered and the presence of the gods is given form through architecture.
After passing the boundaries and ascending the path, one arrives not at a dramatic spectacle, but at a quiet center.
Here, belief is not declared loudly—it is simply sustained, day after day, through devotion and care.
神社の中心へ
参道の先に現れるのが、社殿です。
ここは祈りが捧げられ、目に見えない神の存在が、建築という形で受け止められる場所です。
境界を越え、道を進んだ先にあるのは、
華やかさではなく、静かに保たれてきた信仰の中心でした。
The Presence of Time
Wrapped in sacred rope, the old tree stands quietly within the shrine grounds.
Estimated to be hundreds of years old, it has witnessed generations of worship, change, and continuity.
Unlike buildings made by human hands, this tree grows and endures on its own.
It reminds us that belief is not only preserved through stories and rituals, but also through time itself.
時間の存在
注連縄をまとった御神木は、境内に静かに立っています。
樹齢数百年ともいわれるこの木は、幾世代もの人々の祈りと移ろいを見つめてきました。
人の手で造られた建物とは異なり、
この木は生きながら時間を重ねてきました。
信仰は物語や儀式だけでなく、時間そのものによって支えられていることを感じさせます。
